Voluntary project launched
I’ve been working with Andy Bryant on a brand new website, brand identity and more for the wonderful local charity Green Light Trust, and I’m happy to announce that we launched the website this morning!
The site was built over many months last year, with a bit of help from the other guys at Virgin Money. Andy took care of the majority of the image elements on the site, including the rather scrummy background image – which is custom crafted. You should have seen the glee in his face when using his cloud brushes.
You’ll notice the redesigned Green Light Trust logo, too:

If you look closely, you’ll see a hidden symbol in the logo too. It symbolises the work that Green Light Trust do – they bring communities together by working with nature. See if you can work out what it is!
The site is built into the underrated SilverStripe Open Source CMS, with various custom elements built in to make it easier for the guys at Green Light Trust to keep their site up to date.
In addition, we’ll be helping them with some offline material, email, and working with them to implement their social media strategy.
Anyway, take a look at the site and see what you think – any comments and feedback are much appreciated!
Leave your comment below. Go wild! Just curb the naughty words.

Spotted it – in the boots?
It’s a nice-looking site, good going to the both of you.
Well done tom, I know it hasn’t always been easy but the end result does look pretty cool and is something to be proud of. You better teach me some silverstripe before you leave – something else for the handover list!
